http://www.itv.com/news/calendar/update/2013-11-01/livemore-eyes-permanent-hull-move/ Jake Livermore is willing to talk to Hull about making his loan move permanent after declaring he "needs a home". The 23-year-old Tottenham midfielder is spending the season at the KC Stadium after a number of high-profile arrivals at Spurs shunted him down the pecking order. Livermore had already spent loan spells at Derby, Peterborough, Ipswich and Leeds before his first-team breakthrough at White Hart Lane and admits that he is enjoying being a key part of Hull's plans. Manager Steve Bruce has already indicated he would be interested in a future deal and the player appears to be open to it as well.
Don't want him??? Him, Thudd, and Davies have been our three best performers so far. What the **** does he need to do?
Oh right sorry, I don't generally make lists with names of the sad little people that spend their nights looking to wind people up
I don't want him because, he's not actually all that good (technically) and he's coming out in the press spouting crap about his current employers and saying he'd love to leave etc. etc. Hes very similar to Meyler, who i think is not far from equal to Livermore, and I'd like to see Tom Cairney get in the side next to Huddlestone, there's a midfield capable of some excellent passing moves. I do like Livermore but he won't be cheap and I think there's other areas of the team would really benefit from investment first.
Livermore has been excellent, and consistent, and I can only see him getting better. I like Meyler but I think he is playing at the top of his game, and last season had some very poor games.
Just realised you said you don't want Livermore, after liking your post. I strongly disagree, Livermore is excellent.
I'd be very happy with this signing! Similar to Meyler, just without the tendency to give away stupid free kicks and occasional sloppy passes.
Bumped thread due to comments and speculation after today's Arsenal game It has been tweeted and mentioned on national radio today that Jake Livermore will sign for Hull City in the summer. A fee of £6m has also been reported recently in the press as Tottenham look to cut there large squad for new summer signings. Whilst nothing will be made official yet for obvious reasons this news would hardly be a surprise either.
Livermore always does a job for us, but in the first half today he really bossed the midfield. Not sure whether this was a Spurs vs Arsenal thing, but if he wants to re-establish his international credentials, he needs to do more of that next season.
