Off Topic OT: Computer Game Thread!

What mode do you play on? Easy, hard, professional? I dunno what modes you have.

Oh btw, didn't take me long to get back to playing well on cod. Played one in the chamber, went 11 kills without dying.

There are different level settings. The difficulty setting effects the computer operated cars, this can be set to automatic, easy, intermediate and hard I think. However, there are also setting for your own car such as the racing line on the track being shown, braking assist, transaction control assist, etc.

We had the opponents on intermediate in the co-op season we finished last night. However, DR and I choose different settings for our cars. I think DR had full braking assist but partial racing line. I have the full racing line and medium braking but will be lowering this to low from now on; I had it on medium because I didn't know the tracks. Not that I know them like the back of my hand but I have raced them all now and there is only one step forward IMO and that's to just do it. No doubt that will mean me majorly ****ing up in some races.

Good shout on the qualifying and only one of progressing My problem with the one lap is my competitiveness, I want to be on pole and probably try too hard to get it which inevitably ends with a **** up putting me near the back

Not sure if it would be different online though as this would be a bit silly. If I get chance, I'll have a read on the website

I like the Lotus but, performance wise, I'm not sure the Lotus would be much different to the AMG? Yeah, lets go McLaren

I once went no braking assist you know, what a joke that was. Its v hard, have you tried it all yet?

1 lap good as like you say one **** up and your back of the grid

Im not sure about this ghost car stuff, I know it makes more sense for online play but takes away some of the realism you get on one player

I brought it down to high, practiced a bit on med and it was to much. High for me is a step forwards trust me!

Not sure mate, Enricky will know more. Ive not paid much attention as i always wait (usually teething problems first 6 months or so) and I cant afford one yet! But its not high on my priorities atm

Not sure mate. I'm a bit ****ed off with the xbox one anyone. It's costing a small fortune and alot of the 'special features' in it's selling points won't work in the UK and are specific to the USA anyway so I'm not sure why the price is so high over here

I get the monthly xbox mag for myself and the kids and there was a big write up in it the other month about things that will be available in the US but not in the UK

My mates the same, he does it with every Xbox (pre orders). He had 4 new 360's!

You get a guarentee obv so if it does break, and you can be arsed sending it back etc fill your boots!

It just pisses me off they we are paying more for the console than the US and we aren't getting the features they are getting. So what exactly is the premium price for ? I find it hard to justufy the best part of £500 for a gaming console.

None, I'll get it on ps3 (pre ordered that too). Dunno what Xbox are doing but if you buy it on ps3 and you want it on ps4 then it's just a £10 upgrade, so you don't have to fork out £45 on the game again.

I imagine xbox will do that tbh.
