I'm afraid I'm not going to lose too much sleep over that. Shame he will not face justice though.

To afraid to face justice after the sick stuff he did. I'm sorry but he is a coward unlike the poor people he molested.

I'm not going to be judge and jury here, but at his age, either he gets pulled through the rough, or he ends it. Plenty of people might choose the same.

All I hope is that Rolf Harris is as clean as a whistle.

Turns out that the chauffeur, David Smith, was due in court (on Monday) over the allegations, but never turned up. Hence why the police went to his address, and found Smith. Would certainly appear to be suicide.

Rolf is a legend, would be so weird if he turned out to be another sick old man.

Can't imagine what it'd be like if this was happening to famous people from my childhood. Imagine if it was Ant and Dec! Must be pretty bizarre.

I'm happy as long as they never investigate Mr Blobby.

Neil Buchanan! He's in a band now, they were playing in The Railway in Winchester - I was going to go, until I realised it'd probably be ****.

I am bound to say that MOTD3 is nowhere near so interesting since Colin Murray upsticked to commercial radio and television, and I like Mark Chapman as a presenter, but the edge has gone, completely. What a shame.

There was some rumour doing the rounds a couple of years ago that he'd died. That scared me.

I literally grew up with Rolf Harris appearing with a huge brush and a studio wall as a canvass. His bop-pa-dop-a-dom delivery, as he painted in unsubtle details of light and shadow with a brush suitable for wallpaper pasting fixed his profile in kids of my age. I can't say I loved the bloke, but I had a huge affection as he cemented his character in the British psyche. He's made major impressions at different times subsequently, and when I heard that he'd been investigated for child abuse I wanted it so much to be untrue. I still do, and I hope he comes out of it squeaky clean. He is a legend.

It is bizarre really. We only have John Craven left from the 80s.......(I don't trust Tony Hart I'm afraid!)

Oh I know he's gone, but there was always something a little odd about him. I worry about what he got up to with Morph in his pleasure time.....

Funnily enough, I used to live down the road from Ed Stewpot Stewart - he met his (now ex) wife when she was 14. He was thirty something. Different times and values in some senses too (though I think we had this discussion a while back).
