Surprised the pundits haven't been more negative about it, as playing the sweeper keeper is a bit too "foreign" for their liking - Angelo Peruzzi was playing in a similar manner for Juventus 15 years ago, and they won pretty much everything at the time.
So moanrinho say's he is glad England have made ot to the WCF's in Brazil, and is happy to speak to Greg Dyke About the future of the team,When did we sack Roy and made moany Manager?
2nd page in as Redknapp talks about going back to collect sandras purse, as she left it at the checkout. Redknapp sets off a barrier alarm by mistake, two guards March him through a underground car park as he shouts '' I'm not a thief, I'm the ****ing manager of Tottenham! ''.... LOL!
Well deserved, he's got the potential to go very far in the game. He's so consistent at going past players and now he's fast learning what to do with the ball once he takes it past someone, it feels like it's only a matter of time until he becomes a top winger. I had my doubts about him for awhile but I'm very happy to eat my words, he's proven me wrong
To be fair to the guards, the two aren't mutually exclusive. We did have George Graham at the helm for a bit, after all.
Ginola doesn't appreciate Jake Humphrey's opinion about his sartorial choices:
. Ginola can get a bit touchy at times. I remember he was on with Jeff Stellong and the boys once and was sat next to Rodney Marsh. Marsh was having a rant and suddenly turned to Ginola and said "what do you think Dave?". Ginola looked at him most indignantly and said "Dave ?? Who is this Dave ?? I am not Dave, I am Daavveeeed" .
"Ginola doesn't appreciate Jake Humphrey's opinion about his sartorial choices" I have been trying for ages to find a clip of the Rory Bremner satire on Ginola (the one where he lampooned those L'Oreal ads he did - and suggested what George Graham thought of that) .
Good result for Sutton on saturday hosting second placed Bromley.Sutton won 1-0 with a Jamie Slabber backheeled goal that would have graced the P/L.if we win our game in hand on Tuesday we will move up to 2nd ,one point behind the leaders, with them coming to GGL Saturday week
I hope you are wrong, but I fear you are right. He seems to have a lost a bit of his "Mojo" in recent months.
Hahaha, i HATE that move. If someone gets a better goal than that first one this season i will be amazed.
Is it better than Van Baston's famous goal v Russia. In all respects I think it was, apart from the importance of the occasion? As BMJ said after, he had to cover ground to get there, control the ball and hit it with his weaker foot. I think it'll be many a season before it's bettered. The only one to rival it recently was Crouch's for Stoke against (I think) Man City.
Lowton scored a very good chest and volley too. Might be wrong but I don't think Crouch's or Lowton's even got goal of the season in the end, although I'm sure had it been Rooney or another fashionable player then they would've.
On Crouch, I think it was Cisse's lazy attempt that inadvertantly came off the outside of his boot and beat the Chelsea keeper. Crouch's was much better. (Bet I've got the wrong season!).
