You guys don't just drive everywhere in pointlessly big SUV's that you can't figure out how park? What an odd country.

Ha, no, because over here it would cost about £1000000000 to fill one of those up.

Without a massive bumper, how do they even let commuters know about their political beliefs!?

There may have been some compliments in there, but it just left me feeling patronised. If Mauricio feels he would be useful to us...okay...but doing a favour to the player or ManU...forget it. I warched him in the U21s yesterday...at first he looked exciting, then he got annoying. Tricks for tricks sake. Needs to learn how to use his skills. Different position I know, but I preferred the calmness, intelligence and accuracy of JWP.

I will have far more respect for our police if they continue kicking obnoxious Tory politician's arses.

The coppers who stitched up the snobbish Tory Whip should be awarded medals and lots of other honours and be celebrated as working class heroes.

They should now tell Eton toff and rich Tory boy Cameron and his grubby mates to use the back door to Number 10.

You have to give it to the bloody Tories going on about how the Russian oligarchs stole state assets.

What we have just witnessed with the Royal Mail sell off is rich Tory boys looking after their rich Tory friends and losing millions for the exchequer in the process.

They've been taking lessons from Abramovich.

Not to worry though. They'll recover most of any budget shortfall with another assault on the pockets of the poor.

Up the revolution brothers and let us hope it happens soon.

Woking is good for getting to Southampton for the games!

I actually used to live in Guildford and met my future ex-fiancee at Bar Mambo's (is that still there??) Yes, I know, I know.....

I'll take your Autosport and raise you Motor Sport each month as well. If you don't already, it's well worth getting purely for Nigel Roebuck's writing (for me, by far the best and most perceptive F1 journalist).

Well my dad could batter your dad etc <laugh>

Never heard of Motor Sport if I'm honest. Is it out in the shops? If so, I may have a nosey at the next issue.

Haha, sorry, I didn't mean it in a dad battering way! But yes, MotorSport Magazine is the green one - it's excellent. F1 Racing isn't bad either, though a bit more populist and a little less purist!

Been trawling through iPlayer trying to find some decent BBC programming. It's proving difficult. "Stephen Fry: Out There" is very good, and there's a decent documentary on the Ottomans, but now I'm all out of ideas.

    Recommendations?

Ever read this travel book, StG ? It's very good indeed. Must have read it at least 3 or 4 times over the years.

I used to get F1 Racing, but then when I got into all the junior series, I switched to Autosport because some of it's articles on lower-level drivers are pretty interesting. Don't suppose you're a fan of junior series like GP2, GP3 etc?
