Hee-hee, love it. Artur comfortably makes the step up from goalkeeper to proper footballer. Of course that means an end to drop kicks winging their way into touch.

Another bargain from Valencia: Adil Rami allegedly set to sign for Milan, initially on loan, with option to sign for 7 million euros.

So I found out what my Final Year Project is gonna be...I'm officially doing it on "Ultrasonic parametric array as a highly directional sound source". How fun does that sound <laugh>

Hmm, interesting GBS. Pinpoint beaming of audio frequencies over distance with break-up? That kind of thing?

The description of the project mentions using it in hybrid/electric vehicles to warn pedestrians of oncoming traffic, in particular for elderly or partially blind/deaf people, but without unnecessary noise pollution. Sounded interesting enough.

That has to be the best disallowed goal celebration ever. Poor ol' Victor. He deserved that goal. :)

Aha, yes. Perhaps you know why we still have to hear bloody noisy Ambulance, Police and Fire Service** sirens, when there was a perfectly capable directional siren produced a few years back..?

**I'm not knocking the work they do, just the noise pollution. Like a lot of people, I'd like a quieter world.

I would like to do a PhD on "Floccinaucinihilipilification of an impoverished island community within the context of a high debt-to-equity ratio with negative operating income and zero or less yield to maturity".

Do you think I will find much about it on the internet and where should I start looking?

I applied to do a PhD on that very subject. Couldn't get a place due to the hordes of others taking up all the places.
