We let Bent go, although he wanted to go so not alot we could do there. 20 goal a season striker & from what seen of ngog he isnt going to get us 20 goals. We are selling Henderson, yes the fee was too good to turn down but we are selling our best players plus we have lost Welbeck,Zenden,Mensah,Onouha etc..

but who says that Ngog is coming to replace Bent?

well i was told the other day from a friend who works out at the club and i said this deal would include either ngog or kelly, granted kelly was long shot but was told it was going to be a loan and that henderson is def going.

he also said bruce wouldnt get a penny of the bent to spend, at a niall quinn roadshow quinn did say that the money we wil get for bent wont reach 24 million & it is all in instalments

You have to laugh at some of our posters on here. I'm quite sure that some of them who are now saying we are crazy for doing this deal, are the same ones who were saying he is ****e and we should sell him when he went through a bad patch last season....

Totally agree with you some of these guys producing those stats need to actually realise alot of those apperances were like 5 minute cameos at the end of the game.

When he started a game more often than not he would score, I honestly think he will be a good signing for them and i can see him getting 15 goals eaisly.

I think Liverpool are getting a tad ripped off in this deal if reports of 15m plus Ngog is true. I dont see Henderson making much of an impact and i would say he is at the same level as Jonjo Shelvey and i would pay 10m for him let alone 15m plus Ngog.

David N'gog Stat's for Liverpool (competetive games)

Started 41 games = came off a total 418 minutes from these starts.
Came on Sub 53 games = had 936 minutes as a sub
Total Games 94

121 shots
50 on target
19 goals
1 assist

Just to make myself clear on this subject

I like Henderson , i think the fee was too good to turn down, dont think he is worth it.

my argument is the signing of n'gog

why dont you just keep him then, if hes that good, we dont want to rip you off, IMO, he aint good enough

fantastic. A non goal scoring striker

Okay. Let's say N'Gog isn't Bents replacement. Why the **** would he leave Liverpool to warm our bench, unless he knows hes a parcel of ****e and is happy to do so?

The reason Liverpool havent played him and the reason he hasn't got many goals for his games is simple. He's no ****ing use. He may reach his potential going back to a European league more suited to him but he'll never make it in the EPL. I've watched him miss sitters and look totally anonymous and cant recall a game I saw him where I thought "hello, he'd be a canny signing". Not once and I watched all of Liverpool's European games. He is Anthony le Tallec all over again. Weak as piss and cant hit a barn door.

Liverpool fans that have watched him for 3 years cant even make their mind up, so that tells me enough to say he will fail miserably at the SOL.

All players miss sitters. Tevez against us last season, Bent on Saturday to name but two. That doesn't make them bad players though. We haven't even signed the lad and you are slating him. He may not prove to be the answer to our prayers but, if we do sign him, you have to give him the chance to show what he can do. I mean we saw all these kind of comments when we brought Welbeck from Utd and he didn't turn out too bad did he.

If we were paying £7m or £8m for Welbeck I'd be relatively happy mate but £1 for N'Gog is 99p to much. The lad is shocking.

He's scored 18 goals in 93 appearances.

If you scroll down on his wikipedia game you get them stats so it seems you have aswell.

And 19 out of 93 is just as terrible. The guys a impact player, when he starts a match he looks like a headless chicken. Bruce is off his rocker!

Some players just dont fit into certain teams, others cant get a run in the team, others just cant score for toffee at certain teams.

just look at Forlan for Man U (63 and 10 goals for man U), couldnt score at all hardly, went to spain and was getting 25-30 every season, and the other end of the spectrum, Shevchenko, could not stop scoring in italy, came over here and struggled big time.

yes N`Gogs record is pretty dire, and it may not improve any, but it might and we may be surprised at how well he does. I wont knock him until he has had a run of games under his belt.

I have been reading all your comments on David Ngog and my blood is boiling.

You know nothing of the player and are all jumping on the media band wagon by slaughtering David Ngog.

The Truth is that David Ngog is a decent player with lots of potential amd i think with regular game time he could become a really good striker.

He was never really given that much time on the pitch at Liverpool but when he did start he would always work his socks off and get a goal more often than not.

He is a quite lad who gets on with it and never throws his dummy out the pram.

All in all you guys need to grow up and judge him after youve seen him play a few games for your team.

Well we appreciate your opinion mate & indeed respect it. It just seems that most of us on here think he's a pile of **** like.

Not like the Scousers to have a moan. Calm down, calm down.
