I have been reading all your comments on David Ngog and my blood is boiling.

You know nothing of the player and are all jumping on the media band wagon by slaughtering David Ngog.

The Truth is that David Ngog is a decent player with lots of potential amd i think with regular game time he could become a really good striker.

He was never really given that much time on the pitch at Liverpool but when he did start he would always work his socks off and get a goal more often than not.

He is a quite lad who gets on with it and never throws his dummy out the pram.

All in all you guys need to grow up and judge him after youve seen him play a few games for your team.

Glad to hear you have a decent opinion of him, but we are in our rights to say as we see.

He'll be given a chance to prove himself, and we'll back anyone in red and white until they let us down.

My friend, who IS a Liverpool fan suggests he has no first touch whatsoever, and this is his major downfall.

I guess that can be worked on.

<applause>

but he is right, way OTT so why not take the opinion of someone who watches him, a Liverpool fan?

dont get me wrong syd, i take alot more notice of someone who has watched him play. i just meant in general you always get a split of what people think of a certain player. i completley agree that people are going OTT on n'gog. if we do sign him we should only judge him on what he does for us, not what he's done in the past

From what i have seen of him, seem him a few time's a don't really like him but you will know better seeing him all the time.

He got his 1st Premier League Goal past us.

Im gutted about Henderson going but the fee was such that we couldn't turn it down.

The last striker you sent us was Le'Tallec & he was ****e.

N'gog isnt going to be the 15-20 goal a season for replace Bent.

Seen him play loads in Europe and for Liverpool in Premier League, never been impressed and looks average. Obviously he will get a chance to prove himself up here but and he will have my support.

All this talk about N'gog though and he might not even be part of the deal, just rumours so far.

I can only comment of what I've seen of N'Dog, the guy is ****e no first touch and his goal scoring record is awful.

HoughtonMackem, I go along with you saying lets see what he can do for us, don't judge him on his past, However there is very little in his past to give us any sort of hope he will achieve anything with us he reminds me of the Le Tallec guy we had years ago.....

BB :- You might give players a chance, but there will be a hardcore set of our fans who will be already rubbing there hands at the prospect of a ready-made scapegoat.

You signed him for a fee of 1.5 million, what has he done since signing for you to increase his value upto 4-6 million?

Played in Europe, quite a bit. He's young and tested in the prem too. It's not like he's 33 and past his prime or something. The stats going round are poorley interpreted since I'd say most if not all of those appearances were when he came on as a sub and we were winning already. His goals came when he lead our attack - by himself - in Europe last season and for a few months he was our top scorer. Can't believe how you guys can be so enraged about selling Henderson for 15/16 million (more than fair) and getting a young striker out of it as well.

Totally agree with you some of these guys producing those stats need to actually realise alot of those apperances were like 5 minute cameos at the end of the game.

When he started a game more often than not he would score, I honestly think he will be a good signing for them and i can see him getting 15 goals eaisly.

I think Liverpool are getting a tad ripped off in this deal if reports of 15m plus Ngog is true. I dont see Henderson making much of an impact and i would say he is at the same level as Jonjo Shelvey and i would pay 10m for him let alone 15m plus Ngog.

We let Bent go, although he wanted to go so not alot we could do there. 20 goal a season striker & from what seen of ngog he isnt going to get us 20 goals. We are selling Henderson, yes the fee was too good to turn down but we are selling our best players plus we have lost Welbeck,Zenden,Mensah,Onouha etc..
