I see in the last few hours of NewsNow articles on Saints, the proliferation of Pochettino's supposed aim at the Champions League. One news header even suggests that Poch has had a dig at Swansea about the Europa League. Anyone who saw today's pre-match news conference knows Poch didn't have a dig at Laudrup or Swansea [he doesn't compare himself to Barack Obama either], but said that he prefers the Champions League over the Europa League. Well, indeed. Who wouldn't..? It wasn't an Europa League put-down, but more of a Champions League appreciation, and somewhere where the club want to go. Realistically, not this season [though I wouldn't say no if it was a thing to be offered], but in the coming seasons, certainly. Is that too much to ask, i.e. to have a goal [the other type] for your football club..?
