Yep, not convinced by Benzema. Not that he's ****, but I just don't think he'd be much of an improvement, if at all on Giroud. If there's any chance at all of getting Lewandowski then we should go all out to get him. It's highly likely that he'll be sold in January too as his contract is up in the summer and he'll leave on a free otherwise. Other than that it's Suarez or Falcao for me and both are unlikely. I don't think we should be looking to sign a striker of any less quality than those mentioned.
He may well go and has done a under the table deal. But he can't officially sign a contract with another German team till a month before his contract expires Only teams outside of Germany can get him to sign a free transfer in Jan. That being said if he want's to go and they want him it will be immpossible to stop but officially he can't sign a document with Bayern till 1st June. Unless of course Dortmund accept an offer from them. Though he is 99.99% going to Bayern.
Dortmund would be desperate to sell to anyone but Bayern 5-10mn max depending on who else is bidding - but if the player doesn't want to come he wont. Falcao is interesting but not only would he cost min 60mn he also now has ridonkulous wages at Monoco don't see it happening. Strikers out there - not neccersairly will wont to come to us Jackson Martinez Abel Hernandez Suarez Rooney (although think he will stay at UTD unless he gets booted off the team again) Balotelli Ba Stefan KieÃling I am thinking buying a WF/Str may be the way to go unless we can get a superstar and make Giroud and Pod fight for the up top spot Di Maria Reus Alexis Sanchez ( he is down the barca pecking order) Cant think of others.
Yeah I think Di Maria could be a great signing. Particularly as he can play LW/RW and SS when needed. Balotelliis an interesting one. Could be a complete 'car crash' or (if Wenger can get him to focus) a genius signing. He has all the physical and technical qualities to be a World Beater. Its funny the Lars Bender rumours still arnt going away.
Balotelli is really talented but isn't using his full talent effectively. Wenger is probably the best person out there that can bring the best out of the guy. Under our system of play, he would get a seriously high amount of goals. Di Maria would be another great buy.
Nor should they! Will happily take either of the Bender brothers. Lars , Reus ( and Papadoupoulus) would complete this team Would cost 50-70mn for the lot and none will be on stupid wages. Impossible to get all in Jan but if we can over the next year the team could be special and a little German -----------------Wos/Fab/?------------- --Sag/Jenk--Mert/Papa---TV/Kos---Gibbs/Monreal--- ----------Ramsey/Wilshere------Bender/Flamini----- ---Theo/OXO--------Ozil/Caz------------Reus/Caz -----------------Giroud/Pod------------------ Now that would be a team/squad - I also appear to be missing FM
Yup would be a strong team. I'm not convinced we need any more midfielders but Bender is such a talent (and still young) he would improve just about any midfield. He was also the first player Wenger tried to sign over the Summer so I would'nt be suprised if he tries again at some point.
Daily star clearly following this thread as city and us have been linked with Reus. he apparently has a 32mn release clause. Yes please!!! The only player I would have over him is Suarez( of players we could get that is). He can play across the front 4 and his link up play with Ozil in the national team is awesome.
We definitely need someone who can play through the middle at CF or on the right (like Podolski can on the left). When everyone is fit it would be nice to have the option of Cazorla/Podolski on the left, Giroud/<New Player>/Podolski in the middle and Walcott/<New Player> on the right.
Arsenal set to miss out on PSV sensation Bakkali Arsenal could face a struggle to land PSV Eindhoven hotshot Zakaria Bakkali as the Dutch club are poised to offer him a new long-term deal. The forward, 17, is regarded as one of the hottest young prospects in the Eredivisie and is attracting admiring glances from across Europe. The Gunners were heavily linked with a move for the Belgian youngster in the summer while Manchester City and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest. He became the youngest player to score a hat-trick in Eredivisie history when he netted a treble in a 5-0 thrashing of NEC Nijmegen earlier this season. He is currently contracted to PSV until 2015 but the Eindhoven giants want to tie him down for a longer period and could do so in January when he turns 18. In Holland players under the age of 18 cannot sign contracts for longer than three years and PSV will look to hand him fresh terms within the coming months. Does anyone know about this guy? Sounds like a top talent.
Yeah I watched him play for the Belgium U21's looks a really top talent. Very quick and skillful. I would say he's a simular type to Alexis Sanchez. It's crazy how many talented Belgian players are coming through. In terms of players I would say they have one of the best squads behind Germany and Spain. ---------------------Mignolet----------------------- Alderweireld--Vertonghen--Kompany--Vermaelen --------------Dembelle---Fellaini------------------- --------------------Hazard-------------------------- ----Benteke---------Lukaku------------Mirallas---- That still leaving De Bruyne, Bakkali and Daniel Van Buyten on the bench.
You're absolutely right, they have some really good players coming through. They have now some of the best players in the world and should reach far in the World cup. They have outstanding players like - Hazard, Lukaku, Witsel, Vertongen, Kompany, Fellaini, Benteke, Dembele. They have some serious quality there.
