We saw the same old story with footballers. 3-0 up and they think it' s game over and they sit back, take their foot off the gas and all of a sudden they've let the opposition back in it. Overall though, Everton deserve the 3 points.
Haven't watch Monday Night Football on Sky up until now. What's the general consensus of opinion of Jamie Carragher as a pundit? I can't take his incomprehensible squealing personally. His half time analysis had me reaching for the volume control!
He's enthusiastic, knows his stuff but hasn't the confidence that Jamie Redknapp and Gary Neville both have in front of a live audience. He can't help his accent, but it does make him very difficult to follow. I guess most people can't be arsed to concentrate that hard to try and decipher what he is saying.
He is slowly, and I mean slowly, growing on me. Once you get over the initial shock of his high pitched squeal, you realise he does make the occasional good point. He does make a few funny jokes as well, though I can't really tell if these are intentional or not! He needs to SLOW down his sentences and perhaps incorporate a little punctuation. Agree with OS though, it's a confidence problem. My real gripe is not his accent but that he speaks exclusively in cliches, which I thought was the refreshing thing about Gary Neville's punditry, the lack of cliche.
Lucky I dropped Ben Arfa this week, he was subbed at half time ...which is still 45 minutes more than Redmond got. Arse!
I can't help thinking that The Smug One is slowly losing the plot. Mata. Oscar. de Bruyne. Lukaku. If it had been any other manager making these schoolboy errors, the press would be waging a collective "get this clown out quick!" campaign. I don't care what spin the Chelsea boys put on it, they cannot be happy with him.

DL, any sane person can see that Torres should have been sent off well before that incident, for violent conduct against Vertonghen. Graham Poll, someone who knows the rules and has had ample opportunity to review the incident discusses it at length in his article today. Yes the refereeing was poor, but that worked more to Chelsea's advantage than it did to ours, as you should have spent much longer with ten men. You benefited from the poor refereeing, as you would most likely have lost if Torres had been sent off for the correct incident, given how on top we were after you went down to 10. I agree though the referee did lose control of the game, and it cost Spurs 2 points, he should be reprimanded.
Come on DL, WY is spot on, Torres got exactly what he deserved. O.k. For the wrong incident, but absolutely no doubt that he deserved to go.
I agree the referee lost control of the game but I'm not sure how it benefitted us. Torres should have gone long before he did and so should Vertonghen. Fully agree but now Torres faces a ban on top of the ban he'll receive for the red card offence when it really wasn't necessary. Dean refereed the game poorly.
I'm convinced that they actually use a prop on MOTD with a pullstring like Woody. his only analysis is: "Well the defender did touch him so he's got every right to go down" "Well he's in the box so he's got every right to be taking it on and shooting himself" Either that or the BBC are paying someone to do something they are not very good at, but I don't believe anyone would be that incompetant.....
I cannot see any reason Vertonghen should have gone. For what? Torres clearly put a nasty rake down the back of his ankle. Vertonghen, quite rightly took issue with that, it was dirty and unnecessary. Torres then proceeded to scratch his face in the ensuing confrontation. What Vertonghen did wrong in that incident escapes me!
