what sort of defending was that?not closing down at all strolling around,as if they were out for a walk!,suprised they didn't lose by more!

I don't think Arsenal cared after going 2-0 up, they were hoping to defend in numbers and hit them on the break but Napoli barely ever looked like piling numbers forward. Had it been a two legged knockout I'm sure Arsenal would have looked to press home the advantage but 3 points is 3 points to them at this stage.

Napoli brought their hooligans with them last night. Various reports of trouble and one Arsenal fan hospitalised with a head wound, though it seems it's not anything too serious, thankfully.
Obviously our fault, again. Provoking things with our chants.

The hooligan culture lives strong in certain countries in Europe(and on occassions here too), they're not fighting for anything specific just their own anger/hatred mixed in with an odd sense of pride in being able to bash a load of unsuspecting peoples heads in. They go out looking for an excuse and they'll find it one way or another. The Lyon and Lazio/Roma fans might've been doing Nazi salutes before attacking ours but are they also going around attacking synagogues, Jewish businesses and Jewish people when we're not visiting? Probably not. Anti-semitism and football was used as a veil for their hatred and desire to have a fight just as football and a stupid sense of pride and reputation was probably the veil for jumping a load of Arsenal fans/random local businesses.

I hope the Arsenal fans weren't seriously injured.

The strength of the Bundesliga being shown as Man City Youth, a side we smashed 6-3, are currently smashing Bayern Munich 5-0! in the UEFA Youth League.

I forget his name but the commentator alongside Neville was being a right dick. Always having cheap digs at City and asking stupid loaded questions like "have you ever seen a top English side get beat like this at home in the Champions League, Gary?".

Anyway, that was some performance from Bayern. It still has it's flaws because they relied on Hart having yet another one of those days in dealing with their long shots. If they'd had Cech in goal it would've very closely resembled Chelsea's game against them.

Didn't think we did to bad against Bayern when we faced them
