Just listening to Danny Baker on 5 live,Speaking to Ledley!just finished now, very entertaining and interesting, good to hear he is taking his coaching badges
Defoe accidentally explains why he's being used as a sub and then realises what he's saying:
notso, you asked me to shut up, you told District not to answer you, I was just about to post that you can be damned arrogant at times but your compliment to me exonerates you, thank you.
Sutton New's, good win yesterday 5-0 at Havant&Waterlooville,Sutton up to 4th place, and ex-spur Jamie Slabber scored 2,his first competive goals for Sutton in his first start after an early season injury. Now a win at Cardiff today will make a good weekend for me!
hopefully with them squad we now have a Euro hangover won't affect us as much as in the past,as we can rest players without losing the quality
Good point. I've just looked at our record at Cardiff and there's been a few draws over a long time. I still think that our forwards are not yet 100% so I hope hope more than feel that Solly will find the net from open play. Eriksen to feature today I think.
I was a bit curious about this so had a look at our fixtures for weekend following Europa League games last year and we had the following record: Premier League games following group stage Europa League games: QPR H - W Villa H - W Southampton A - W Man City A - L West Ham H - W Everton A L Premier League games following knock out ties: West Ham A - W Liverpool A - L Fulham H - L Everton H - D Man City H - W So in total, 6 wins (54%), 4 losses (36%) and 1 draw (9%). For our other games in the premier league we won 15 (56%), drew 8 (30%) and lost 4 (14%) so you could definitely argue that whilst the win percentages are quite similar, we do tend to lose more after Europa League games than when we don't have a Europa game. Although you could also argue that playing away at The Etihad, Anfield and Goodison Park are tough matches that we may have lost anyway. What did I learn from this experience? Only that I don't really know enough about statistics to say anything meaningful but perhaps the European hangovers do exist but it's not quite as drastic as we might think.
Anyone read about this: http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/238347.html Glad it wasn't too serious. We need to be wary of things like this though after the way Palacios dipped. Need to have the right support systems in place.
Bale injured in warm up before home debut. who's been sticking pins into a homemade Gareth bale doll?.....
Because someone has used witch craft or you don't think he will perform? I can't see him failing as look at his career so far, he has stepped up to every challenge faced, performed at left back, left wing and striker. Its not easy changing positions so that tells me he has the belief and ability to be a success wherever he moves.
I don't believe in witchcraft Boss. There are so many big stars around him that to shine he'll have to play out of his skin. The big fee is a huge pressure for any footballer.
