Nice to see Usain Bolts predictions beating Lawro so far. He had us down for a 1-0 win yesterday, good lad.

Well, you can look right now. Steve Wilson made an informed comment about Pochettino's English language use. He was teed up by the newspaper reporter's comment that he wants Poch to start using English, and he turned to the guy [forget his name] and said that when he was down here last season he spoke to Pochettino for 10 minutes in pretty good English, and he also mentioned that everything is conducted in English. The important point he made was that as far as the media concerned, he'd rather talk in Spanish and be translated than talk in English and be misinterpreted. Which is pretty much our own conclusion when we wrote about that on here.

I was just writing about that but abandoned it due to my one year old wanting my attention and banging the keyboard, which is fair enough. So it is available now? I missed the start.

Tomatoes aren't really up to much but they're key in pizza and pasta sauce. Mushrooms are amazing.

Neither belong on Uncle Joe's Ultimate Bagel.

Well, I just had my first Sunday of refereeing since the season restarted.

A County Cup game and a report to fill in on a pitch-invading parent. Oh how I've missed this.

With four minutes left two lads went for the ball, kicking each other. Ball broke away and no head injury so I played on.

Glanced over to see the lad sat on the floor holding his ankle.

Ball then exited play and I turned round to see a woman jumping the RESPECT barrier and running ten yards on to the pitch before shouting at me at the top of her voice "referee you ****ing idiot!"

The coaches apologised and dealt with the lad and talked to their parents to express the disappointment at the behaviour, especially as they were 11-1 up.

Now to spend the afternoon filling the paperwork in...
