And had that piddly little switch shorted with North Carolina going boom, it's a rather safe bet that no one would've spent much time asking "oh hey did we just nuke ourselves?" before a retaliatory strike entered Soviet airspace.

Which phone? HTC Desire. I suppose that's pretty out of date now isn't it.

Exactly. The Soviet Union would have possibly followed it in as well, after detection of the accident, with their own inter continental arsenal. The possible outcome doesn't require a lot of thought. Suffice to say, I don't think we'd be here today, posting about it.

Incidentally, I'm just writing this reply on my Galaxy S2. My wireless keyboard's batteries gave up halfway through..! Technology eh..? :)

The default one. Used to have the Mozilla one but I had some sort of a problem with it. Can't remember what now.

I've no idea mate. I couldn't give advice on phones.

There is one thing I have found out about mobile phones that is important to me. There are portable telephones and there are portable computers that can behave as a telephone. A portable telephone alone doesn't interest me.

EDIT: One thing. If your phone does everything you want it to do then it isn't a bit too old or out of date. I got my S2 because the contract I wanted was cheap, even though the S3 and S4 were available. It's perfect for my needs at the moment, that is, being an online computer in my pocket. It just happens to be a telephone too.

Back on my old keyboard with charged up batteries. :)

Incidentally, I notice the iPhone 5 [S & C] is out today. Big review suggests it outperforms the Samsung S4 overall. Good. Because it pushes technology along, the idiots [notice they start with an 'i' as well] buy it in their millions, and it pushes Samsung, HTC, etc, into something even better. Us users, who are quite happy with our technology that is two or three generations behind, are the real winners, because we eventually get it much cheaper two or three years down the line.

Had a go on the new phones wouldn't really say they are that different. The cam is better which you expect anyways. But it just feels like another IPhone to please the mad people that buy it.

Never fear...it seems to be accurate enough to work with your nipple print, toe print, cat's paw print, and just about anything imaginable. Though unbuttoning my shirt and pressing the phone to my nipple might alarm patrons at fine dining establishments everywhere.
