... only Micah rRichards of the ones you name is fleet footed enough to deal with very quick technically gifted forwards - which is why we need a player with Des Walkers attributes (and why I like Chester) yes he has a way to go but what I like about him is that he doesn't go to ground too easily as well as being quick and strong for his size and he has a hell of a leap on him ...
Anyone see Danny Graham's miss for Hull yesterday. Aluko had a shot saved and with a pretty much open goal other then Joe Lewis lying on the floor Danny Graham spooned it over the bar
Jonjo Shelvey is having one tonight. After scoring against his former club Liverpool to put Swansea 1-0 up. He passed to Daniel Sturridge who equalised and then tried a cross field ball which went straight to Victor Moses who went on and scored So Shelvey has set up 2 Liverpool goals in 1 night! Thats more then what he did when he actually played for Liverpool
I think he's trying to impress too much. Playing silly balls when he should be playing it safe. I personally rate him, I think he'll be a very decent signing for Swansea. Although you have to question their value when Hull got a much better midfielder for a similar price in Huddlestone. Although age obviously played some part with Shelvey being so young.
Huddlestone is alot better then Shelvey but at least you know Shelvey is going to be fit for most of the season
Wow. This is from Walsall's official twitter account @WFCOfficial: @OfficialWolves Better look next time you six fingered, inbred, dingle bastards. YOU'VE LET US DOWN AGAIN!!!!! @VitalWalsall @BescotBanter This account has been verified by twitter aswell. Someones getting sacked in the morning
Burning a hole in Top's pocket. FFP ****ing us over big time. Although i'd be delighted with the signing of Wasilskiskiski regardless. Sounds like a very good signing.
I think if he joins us, it will simply be for emergency cover ala Futacs last year. We do only have three strikers at the minute (well four, but I think Nige prefers Schlupp at fullback), and I can't imagine there's too many free agent strikers with Championship experience. The only other option would be a loan - would Taylor-Fletcher be any worse than another Harry Kane?
I think that this is why Pearson has been experimenting with different formations - we lose a winger, we can bring in another CB and have Schlupp and De Laet do the running. FFP means we're going to struggle to get worthwhile cover for every position, so you have to be canny. But we do also have Gallagher *Runs for cover*.
I'd have no problem with him coming off the bench, he was very effective doing that for Bpool. ****ing hell, what an idiot!
