What also has come out, is that CR7 has been assured his place, his position, his free to do what you like role will not change. Can't have two like that in the side, so I'd preempted this a while ago that Bale will have to play disciplined roles for RM, whether that suits him we'll see.
as far as i'm aware Carlo said that today, after the rumour about Bale playing LB because a journo asked him where he would be playing. 12.28 today on bbc sportsday: Gareth Bale will play some part for Real Madrid against Villarreal on Saturday, manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed. Ancelotti refused to confirm whether or not the Wales international will start at El Madrigal, but did say: "Bale will travel to Villarreal and will play. "I'm not sure if he will start or come off from the bench." When asked about where he would play, he added: "On the right hand side of attack."
You are right in his overall plan, like you, I had already heard that Bale will be on the right, at the expense of di Maria by my reckoning, who'll be starting the Villarreal game there. As i said in my previous posts the LB idea was bandied about early this morning, the news on the two FB's may have been more encouraging since, I don't know. Anyway, enough about him.
