Nothing wrong with Uber_Hoop as a username IMO. Not quite sure why, but it’s Germanic overlord quality makes me think of Kraftwerk crossed with Gary Numan or something.

Anyway, if you’re looking for more humility in your username you could perhaps go from Uber_Hoop to Completely_Hoopless

For originality AND humour, your (3 ?) incarnations are, IMO, simply the best :)

I always assumed - quite wrongly - that your real name was Hubert, hence the 'uber' in your user name. I didn't get the Teutonic link, so on that theme, perhaps LedenhoseR might be an acceptable new moniker, although you will always be Uber to your admirers.

Uber ..................... what about 'FriscoHoop' or FriscoRanger

Uber is a venture-funded startup company based in San Francisco, California that makes a mobile application that connects passengers with drivers of luxury vehicles for hire.

Drums here... in fact, this was recorded Saturdaty night. It needs tidying, because it's only a first rough cut, but still, it might be worth a viewing for ya...

As opposed to Gary Madine? Sounds like early Barton behaviour? I wonder how many of our crew from last season would have indicated, "I just work for them"?

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-24025232

Mr Madine told the jury he had been talking to Mr Hall in the toilets of the club and saw him being hit after they had both left the room. But, asked whether it was him who hit Mr Hall, Mr Madine said: "Definitely not. I do not have a clue who it was."

Mr Hall has told the jury how Mr Madine asked him in the toilet: "Wednesday or United?"But in the witness box, the Gateshead-born footballer said he did not remember the conversation. He told the jury: "I do not think I would have asked that. I am neither. I just work for them. I'm a Newcastle fan."

Asked about a separate incident four weeks earlier, Mr Madine admitted he punched Sheffield Wednesday fan Daniel Beresford in the Paris Bar, also in Sheffield city centre.

Don't post as much as I used to, but still read most threads every day.

My username comes from climbing telecoms towers in my younger days, and it seemed to stick - use it everywhere these days!

Hope the recuperation is going well mate. That was big work you had done, take it easy.

Hi 'sb_73' ........................Yes, I'm Aussie born and bred, I believe the family was traced back to coming from Cornwall.
Followed QPR since 1971, loved the British music of the sixties,
Father was a Lancaster rear gunner out of 630 Squadron in 1944, 34 ops.
I do a lot of research on RAF squadron / crew records from WW2, for people out of Great Briton looking for information on their fathers, grandfathers, etc ................ so I've always felt an affiliation with England as a whole.

The 'facial work' is coming along fine, thanks. Doc says it will take up to 12 months to heal / settle down but so far, all ok..... Went back to work the other day and it feels like a sack of potatoes hanging from the rafters.
The top stitches have gone, the but those underneath remain and will dissolve in time. I can still feel them every time I bend down, that's for sure but apart from that, I can't complain.
    Cheers.
