WPL League Positions (After 4 rounds)

With one match abandoned and Watford not winning, combined with a well above average number of goals going in everywhere. A low scoring week for us. Highest score of the day was Simpology 81 and Zenguerrilla's 50 shoots him into first place. Still very close, particularly in the middle with only 14 points between 10th and 20th place. Only 27 of us actually tipped this week - so a reminder to all those going on holiday about the future postings thread where you can post up to 6 weeks in advance if you need to.

Not really - that's about the only major rule we have. The complete set of rules/system of scoring etc. is set out on the thread simply called Watford Prediction League, which you can find close to the bottom of the page (close to the future postings thread) - feel free to use the future postings thread if you need to - this is for people who know they will be away for a few weeks and need to tip well in advance. Other than that it's just a bit of fun and the rules e.g. deadlines are not observed too rigidly.

WPL League positions (After 5 rounds)


A couple of high scores this week, but again for the majority of us a low scoring week. Zenguerrilla opens a gap at the top with the days highest score of 77, being the only one to predict the Watford result correctly. Just a reminder of the scoring here - the score of 15 is doubled for Watford matches as is the 10 for the unique scoreline leading to a maximum of 50 points for this one match. The ghost has spirited his way into second place with the days second highest score of 73. Akureyrar also rising well up the table with 67.

Just goes to show cheating doesn't pay.... <whistle>
 
I have been away from a computer for a few days and feel gutted to know I am top of the pile on the back of our defeat and predicting it.
 
WPL League positions (After 6 rounds).


For the second week running the 'unique score`for Watford proves the decisive factor as NZ Horn powers his way into second, cutting the gap at the top to only 6 points. Golden Gorden moving along nicely in 3rd. Otherwise, generally low scoring all around this week.
