He's got talent, strikes me very much as a confidence type player. Di Canio has questioned some of your players desire, he won't have to worry about that with Borini that's for sure. His qualities? Movement. Such a clever player, if you utilize him correctly he'll pull defenders out of position all day long and create plenty of space for others, not sure who he'll be playing with, but him and Altidore could form a great partnership. Free-kicks, boy can he strike them! he scored one the other day against Man Utd for the youth team, beautiful strike.

I'd also say finishing, but we've not really seen enough at Anfield, he has a good record for both Roma, Italy and the Chelsea U21's. Injuries really did hinder him last season, but he did look very sharp when he returned, but unfortunately he's gone way down the pecking order here. Good luck, hope you can get the best out of him. <cheers>

Fingers crossed, lets hope he puts the effort in every game, if he does maybe he will be better than Sess? Problem again is the loan unless its with an option to buy.

I'd like to see the new regime have 2 more transfer windows before we start getting really concerned.

Staying up and developing a style of play and a winning mentality will take time.

The fact is that we're signing a variety of players means we'll be more adaptable in games and be able to have a good crack at the cups.

Our 'second stream' could be quite interesting this season.

Internationals on the bench for early round cup games ........ is this really Sunderland?

Bit of gamble (like most of our signings), certainly not a proven goalscorer at an level in any country. I'll be happy for him to start scoring at SAFC.

Not sure if he is what we need right now but he is young and hungry and came to England in a big money move and with a massive potential. It hasn't worked out at Liverpool for various reasons and I have my doubts he will be able to dislodge Fletcher or Altidore but may be a better option than Wickham who didn't grab his opportunity again at the weekend.

I'll happily give him a chance to impress or otherwise if he has indeed signed.

This could be a great addition to the squad ...... at 22 he'll be bursting to play football after the time he's had with injuries.

I hope you've already passed this on to the lad ....... it will be a big weight off his mind.

A very generous gesture and it's a credit to you.

We also have Moberg Karlsson and Watmore as strikers, plus Mandron.

I refuse to shed a tear about Sess going, 29 year old, sporadic form at best and how long do we have to wait to fulfill his potential?

I'm sure his cut of the transfer fee will motivate him initially and then it will be the same old Sess.

I didn't appreciate the stories of him failing to settle after 2 weeks here ........ I steadily grew sick of it and lost all interest in the bloke.

If you don't want to come and play in Sunderland don't take the piss or the money.

Bent tried the same stunt and look what happened there.

Thanks for the 3-0 Sess, cheerio .........

Could turn out to be a good little signing if he will put up with the gaffer.
