Such a great player. Not a position we NEED to strengthen but would immediately raise the qaulity of the side.

Already rejected them according to AS. We offered him 7m a year, Manure only offered 5m. Arsene also tried to sign the player back in 2010 but he chose Madrid. Arsenal fan apparently.

 

My sources are telling me that we have had a forty five million pound bid accepted for Mezut Ozil from Real Madrid

 

This looks like it's turning out to be a pretty good day after all

 

If we get Ozil, I'll be so happy, he's a player I've really loved, never thought we would ever get him, so if we do, I'll be so happy, this guy is super quality.

 

45 million pounds though? **** me that's a lot of money, I'd think 25-30 million would've been enough.

 

Hopefully tomorrow is a better day. Plenty more surprises to come methinks. We'll see. It's been a long hard summer but today has been uplifting. Let's see what tomorrow holds.

I'll give credit to Wenger, but still think we should've had more business done earlier, these weeks have been far more tense and tougher than they should've been.

Ozil and Vivi would be good. We'd still have about 35 million left so we could go for Di Maria for 30 mil and steal some underrated CB for 5

Get Ozil, and don't think we need DiMaria, though it wouldn't hurt.

 

Agreed. When Pod and Ox come back, we'd be massively overstocked otherwise. Also, we still need a center back and possibly a central mid. Giroud is leading the attack well though. He's having his usual great 2nd season.

 

Getting Ozil would be a real statement of intent. It makes sense too, it follows on from my theory earlier that Wenger is trying to sign players he's tried to sign in the past (Viviano)
