Whenever I see that Eagle I hope that it will either mistake Holloways head for a landing post/ or fly off to a better place
Kinda weird that no one else remembers it or refers to it, or remembers reading about it, or remembers other people reading/hearing about it. Did it live in the groundman's hut?

Think your dad's memory is not very good. There was an instance of a tiger being lead around the pitch, there are photos of it somewhere, but not of a tiger in a cage. It was only a one off and not a regular occurence. Don't you think if this used to happen there would be recordings or photos of it and it being mentioned fairly often?
In the 60s my team Sporting Lisbon had a Lion to show fans before every match. Unfortunetly now that isn't allowed. But the ****s from Benfica still have an eagle flying before every home game.
