If we wrap up signings of any of Benzema, Di Maria, Ozil, or Draxler i'll be over the moon. I'd also be content with moves for Kaka and Alonso. Hopefully there are some other top players who we are in for as well. I really think we will make sure we make one big signing.
Draxler is brilliant though. A cross between RVP and Wesley Sneidjer. Another massive German talent. £40 mill is alot though
All though I agree that £40 million is a huge amount of money for such a young player, but that's the going fee for these types of players. He will be a world class player in no time.
So if we get Draxler for 35 Mil, Di Maria for 30 Mil and Benzema for 35 Mil that's be a good window IMO a bit late but good. Maybe if we have some left over Williams for 10 Mil
As the resident Bundesliga "expert", i reckon £40 million for Draxler is insane, and a complete waste of money. He's very overrated in comparison to the other young german talents.
also worth mentioning that Draxler's release clause expired 2 months ago, so we could get him for much less, it's sensationalist BS from Cross, who's obviously going off the BS tweet posted yesterday.
Cross is probably mates with geoff arsenal, no doubt one of them has got that Draxler story from the other
Another day gone by, another day of no movement. This is cutting is very fine. While Spurs have waltzed their way to 3 new players including the Ajax wonderkid, picked up for under 12m. A fantastic addition, and Arsenal were nowhere to be seen...again.
Wengers latest comments that 'we will decide still to pay the right price' means nothing other than that he has no idea anymore what the right price is. Right price for what? Winning nothing? Struggling to fourth? Losing to Bradford? Or is the right price £60k per week for Skill-lacking? And £70k a week for Benayoun? Or £135k a week for himself??
Does our Boss even realise if we lose to Spurs and fail to add any World Class additions the MAJORITY of fans will finally turn and want him out?! He talks like he has 1. No idea who he wants to sign and 2. No real concrete offers in the making. If Wenger is unwilling/incapable to compete anymore he needs to go.
It means he doesn't how to grow big signings. Let's face it, he's never actually managed a club making a truly big signing has he? He's got 2 days left to maintain my support.
