"If he goes into training all a sudden all the cameras are on him and everything else" - Hartson

There's a 10 metre billboard poster of him at the end of my street! If he's worried about cameras... I give up.

"If he goes into training all a sudden all the cameras are on him and everything else" - Hartson

There's a 10 metre billboard poster of him at the end of my street! If he's worried about cameras... I give up.

Also, at the same time as not wanting to have the cameras on him for the briefest of moments as he arrives for training he goes out, on foot, in that terrible pink get-up or whatever the kids call it.
Basically, he looked like some sort of sweetie

If he's worried about cameras, then he's really joining the wrong club. He won't be able to move for cameras for the duration of his contract. He'll fart and Marca will write a 4-page spread on it.

Former Tottenham skipper Ledley King, now an ambassador at White Hart Lane, reveals ex-Spurs boss Harry Redknapp tried to tempt him out of retirement to play for QPR last season.

"He didn't manage to get hold of me," King says. "I wouldn't have done it though. I played at Tottenham my whole life and it would have been a bit silly to try and come back knowing I can't do what I want, play the way I like to play. I have barely kicked a ball since I retired. And I also have got such a great affiliation with Tottenham, so I would like to leave it there."

Oh jeez, what if he fails the medical? That would just be the ultimate end to this utter farce of a transfer

I don't want this post to turn into a debate. If it didn't have a football connection, I wouldn't have posted it. I'm the mumbling drunk guy sat in the corner...

I wrote to my MP, Justin Tomlinson, this afternoon about Syria and this was part of his reply:

The latest figures suggest the number of people killed in this conflict is 100,000; this would fill the County Ground 7 times over.

Swindon Town Football Club play at the County Ground.

His choice of words is just wrong, isn't it? That sort of comparison is a bit nasty. I can't understand why he made it. Am I supposed to picture the ground full of dead bodies? I've sighed and shaken my head twenty times since reading it.

Da boch GARETH, Diolch
Goodbye GARETH, thank you
for so many magic moments. You were a breath of fresh air. Hard to pick a favourite moment, there were so many but if pressed I'd choose the fantastic hat trick in the San Siro.
I wish you a successful and happy career and hope you regard your time with us with affection.
