Someone just found out they were voted our worst player of all time.

I'm not even going to bother to discuss his points, but why is it inevitable for fans/players of other clubs to bring up pompey in arguments/discussions with or about the saints? Pompey fans think we are obsessed, we are reminded about our rivalry every day <laugh>

I don't even remember him playing for us, must have been a top player

Quite hilarious comments from Lee Molyneux, his bitterness shows how far we have come. The fact that we no longer have to play useless players like him is fantastic.

Not strictly true. He's one of the most popular players in the league, in jersey sales, and people will follow whichever team he's on just because of him. He's the modern poster boy for Christianity, so basically every casual fan in the states who is a Christian worships him - obviously there are other Christian players, but none quite so very Christian.

However, there are a hell of a lot of vocal people who hate him. Mainly this comes down to how massively overexposed he is in the media. For the Christian things I mentioned, he has a HUGE audience so networks like ESPN play up to this by covering him to similar levels as the likes of Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers - three of the absolute best players in the world, while Tebow is frankly terrible so the media coverage is far more unwarranted. It was made worse by his 2011 season, he ended up starting for the Broncos and due to a combination of ridiculous luck and everyone else on his team being really good, he kept winning games. This led to idiots going "Clearly he's not terrible, he's a winner!" which just made everything about him unbearable.

Also I'm not sure if that post made sense because it's hard to organise thoughts when typing painfully slowly on a mobile.

Nah, I get ya. I just have friends on Facebook who only ever have negative things to say about him. I think it's amazing that a sportsman can get so much popularity just by being a very open Christian.

Still looks normal to me. Maybe there's some maintenance going on.

ahh, it's back to normal now, I think I accidently clicked some **** to do with vbulletin which changed the format

Lee Molyneux, what a joke. I'm sure Shaw won't stay forever but I'd think it'd take more than Everton to make him leave.

Basically it looked like this
