People bang on about poor league form, -10 gd etc but this is the cup. If they give it a good go and have good support they could cause an upset. We can't take them lightly and a loss would dent our confidence.

I went Leeds last season and they weren't a good side; we made th look a good one that night. I'd like a fairly strong side played, which should be fairly simple to do as we have greater depth this year.

That's a fairly strong team considering there no current first 11(last 2 games) players in it
 
Sky just said Shaw and Morgan injury doubts for Tuesday. Don't care about Barnsley game as I doubt either would have played, but concerning nevertheless. I know Shaw was tackled strongly and it may be unrelated to his previous injury, but I do wonder if he was rushed back to soon. Does anyone know what is wrong with Spider?

To be fair, the XI that played against Leeds including Seaborne, Reeves, Butterfield, Chaplow, De Ridder and Lee.

Slightly different to Fox, Cork, Davis and Gaston.

We actually have some depth in the squad this season to utilise, as you also say.
 
I would like Ramirez and Cork to get a full game and Osvaldo half a game. Other than that we have a very strong '2nd' team that should be good enough.
 
We need to put a strong side out, as Barnsley will be up for it, and are probably not as bad a side as the league table suggests. The 2 games they have been hammered in they have had a man sent off, and they were actually 0-1 up at Blackburn until they went down to 10 men.

bench: Cropper (GK), Colmer, Robinson, Branker, Mugabi.

Britt, stephens, rowe, reed are the previous players out that I can see. I would much prefer to see turnbull than stephens, but the other 3 would all deserve some match time, particularly britt although he's the most unlikely. He is quite possibly our 2nd best goalie
