I think he will rest the three 18 year olds as I expect them to play next weekend. I also feel like Ramirez and Osvaldo could do with the extra game time. This team is a good mix of starting 11 and those looking to break back into the team I feel.

I think he will rest the three 18 year olds as I expect them to play next weekend. I also feel like Ramirez and Osvaldo could do with the extra game time. This team is a good mix of starting 11 and those looking to break back into the team I feel.
I would be pleased if Osvaldo begged to play to gain experience of the team and the game in this country...my guess is that he won't and he won't be selected.

Osvaldo is on the bench to get some game time and for if we're in need for goals, along with Lambert. Wouldn't mind Ramirez starting against Norwich over Lallana.
Off topic but Clyne was spotted in a club in Southampton and said he still wasn't fully fit so expect Chambers to be dropped soon.

Oh and another post you may want to sit down before reading- didn't Morgan come off injured? Somebody near me said he was seen on crutches after coming off. Somebody tell me this ain't true!
Does anyone know what sort of team he used to field in the early rounds of the Cups when he was at Espanyol? May give and indication as to what he will do here.
I want to see us give the cup competitions a go this season, and I suspect we will. That said, it is only Barnsley. So I fail to see the need for anything near a full strength XI. Especially now that we have strength in depth. Would like us to stick with Fonte and Lovren though, just to help build that partnership further.
