Personally, I don't see us getting more than a point from you this season. I know it's too early on to predict such things, but I just don't see it. You look very good defensively, and you create some chances. If you take a couple vs us then I think you have a great chance of doing the double over us. You seem to enjoy playing balls from the back, and they are the types of balls that really do us damage, and we struggle vs defensive sides. You look well organised and I'm not looking forward to playing you, especially at St James. This is not an apology for last night, but simply my serious footballing side. I see a 1-1 at St James and a 2-1 to you at SoS. However, we may have a great week and sign 2-3 quality players. You never know. But as long as we have our ace up our sleeve, then you're never gonna be able to sleep properly the night before....

A lot still depends on transfers, like you say. Your team all of a sudden could look a lot better than it is now just like our team could also improve significantly Also bit early in the season to be judging both teams, a few more games and with the transfer window closed how our seasons will pan out should be clear
I think Newcastle should be the most nervous until the window closes. If you lost Cabaye and or Krul it could devastate you. Either Kinnear is playing a blinder and keeping his cards close to his chest or he's doing naff all. You'll either make 2 or 3 good signings or you'll all be scratching your heads with no one brought in. As for us, a creative midfielder could make our season.
We could swap squads with Barcelona and the Nags with Real Madrid. We would still play like Hartlepool and them Darlington. we are both destined to be ****e.
