I'm confident we wont play a DM in our current system.

A Box to Box who can defend - Like Bender or Kondogbia is much more likely.
I really cant see Wenger sticking a Makelele/Gilberto type in this team.

Besides we are an attacking team without a TOP class centreforward for me that should be our main priority.
 
I've said right from the beginning of this window that we can only judge how good or bad it's been when it's closed. Although it's been frustrating so far, most of the business gets done in the last few days. The best bit is still to come for Arsenal <ok>

Lets hope so. I'm fed up with reading all this negative press. I would really love Wenger to shut up the critics and bring some TOP quality in.

Well any signature will be better than now :) I just hope a couple of signing happens, media gets off our back and we can focus on what is important...winning games!

The radio show I was listening to this morning played a request for a "Mr Wenger" - Julian Cope's "World, shut your mouth".
 
The best must be yet to come because until last night it couldn't have got much worse.

I maintain that the end of the transfer window is a ridiculous time to buy for a club as far behind as Arsenal who are hoping to mount a title challenge.

Serious & classy signings are needed. Benzema & Di Maria would be a good step in the right direction.

Although Benzema and Di Maria would be great signings there is no way we are going to get these two players, we will end up with average French players as always
 
Apparently according to ES we are willing to pay up to 40m for Benzema and 140k in wages.
