Pardew is clueless. Thing is, we would have lost regardless. Bigger clubs than Arsenal have been courting Cabaye for a while now and his form has not dipped. Pardew is just making up bullshit. If Cabaye goes, it will be for about £20 million. I don't think he is quite worth it but with PSG interested that will be the minimum ha.
PSG? You'll be able to squeeze money out of them for fun. Pardew has made a complete tit out of himself here mate you're right. There's no shame in losing to City away. yet again the only people bringing shame is senior management at your club, making completely unnecessary excuses. He should have just said, 'We started with one of the toughest games of the season for any club, it's gladly gone and now we'll prepare for our next match'. It's not hard. Will the bloke ever learn?
It was his comment about us "threatening their goal well" that was the final straw for me. We got in to their box only three times in the entire game I mean that is just pathetic and if he thinks we're happy to hear garbage such as that then he's at the wrong club (but we already know that). As stated above, he should have just said we lacked shape and got ran ragged by the richest club in the world. Most concerning thing for me was a distinct lack of effort from 3 or 4 players (mainly Debuchy and Cisse). It's clear to me that he's lost the dressing room and that is normally the point of no return.
In a press conference earlier today Jose Mourinho said 'He will walk if Chelsea do not win a Trophy this season!' in a later conference Stephen Hawkins said 'He will walk if Newcastle DO!!!' LALAN.... FTM KTF Ha'way The Lads..........
Hatem Ben Arfa has hopes of achieving a top-five finish with Newcastle United this season, despite their opening 4-0 defeat to Manchester City. Alan Pardew's side narrowly avoided relegation last term after a disappointing campaign, although 2011/12 saw them claim an impressive fifth-place finish. French duo Loic Remy and Olivier Kemen are the only new arrivals at St James' Park so far this summer, but Ben Arfa believes that the Magpies can push for a European spot. "Our objective is to finish in the top 10 and I hope we can finish top five," he told The Sun. "That is going to be tough but I'm confident. The Manchester City game has gone and now we have to turn out attention to West Ham on Saturday. "I will be doing everything for the team to maybe repeat what we did two years ago. "We will be stronger than last year. There's confidence in the squad. We think we can do something good this season."
No chance of top 5, ****ing hell man he needs to get a grip. They have enough quality to finish top ten like imo but pardew will **** that up with his tactics
Lets be honest the top 3 are going to be City, Chelsea and United. After them youve got Spurs, Arsenal Liverpool fighting for the 4th spot. Does he honestly think Newcastle are going to finish above any of these??
you just cant account for pardew's lack tactital nouse. he could take them down, and if results start going against them thier famous for turning agiainst thier manager/team
