Apologies if this has already been posted but here's a quite splendid rant from a gooner following the Villa debacle.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but we play a game on the 26th of December and then 2 days later on the 28th according to the official website, is this a normal thing? A thursday and then saturday fixture back to back?
 
Apparently Newcastle were in the game before the sending off and if Cabaye played Newcastle had a much bigger chnace of getting something out of the game. <laugh>

As far as I'm aware it's always been like that. Every team plays on boxing day and then the saturday of that week, regardless of how little a break they get. Does seem a bit daft though.

Asking for injuries, that'll be a time when squads are tested, not just starting 11s

By 'something', surely he means a goal and a 4-1 loss, right? He doesn't think that they were in any way competitive, does he!?
