I had a rare evening watching a bit of TV over at my brother's house, and he had Pick TV on. Every time the infernal adverts came up there was a SKY advert, and whose picture ended the advert..? No, it wasn't Rooney. It was Rickie Lambert. Crikey, what a difference in the exposure of Southampton FC over the last 10 days or so.

Just watched this one down the pub with a mate who supports Sunderland, so that was entertaining. Embarrassing for Newcastle and I really think they could go down this season. Who even was that guy they brought on at left back?

Neville: "You sensed Lambert at half-time [for England] was eager to perform. He has that arrogance to score."

Lambert himself says that he has no doubt he can get goals at any level. He's not a bad judge, is he? WBA's goalie said I knew where he was putting the ball...it was just too powerful. When he hits it right, his shot seems to defeat the keeper even if they get a hand to it....usually it is past them before they can get to it. Rickie has to be a good shout for England, especially for coming on when the need is desperate. He is a better striker than Andy Carroll.

Just in case this South Today interview with Morgan wasn't seen, I'm going to post the link here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23729069#asset

I'm sure St.G's partner will appreciate the gesture at least. Once again, apologies if posted before, but I never saw it. Can one have too much of Morgan Schneiderlin..? I'm probably not qualified to judge.

Thanks TSS. Being outside of the region, that was really handy.
