He'll play alongside Lambo I think. Lambert is far too influential to drop. Lallana and Rodriguez on either side?
There'll be a lot of rotation i'd imagine, what with lallana, puncheon, gaston, ward prowse, davis, rodriguez, osvaldo, lambert and guly all vying for a spot
I have defended Ramirez a hell of a lot but even I find it difficult to make a case for him to start now we have Osvaldo.
Not heard about us in for a winger. But the Sinclair rumours are still going around could be him on loan?
Not to start. Although as I mentioned yesterday, Osvaldo only seems to manage 22/23 games a season. So other players will be rotated around I imagine.
I think someone (joe?) mentioned he played as a Left Forward under Poch. That would make sense because I don't see Lambert getting dropped anytime soon. We wouldn't really lose any width because Jay tends to drift quite central when he plays LF anyway, however we'd lose Jay's defensive workrate. I love the fact that we're having a problem thinking of a way of getting an Italian international into the first 11. We've come a long way since Harding vs Fox (Deffo Harding).
Oh please let that be true, and more importantly come to fruition. As I said a few days ago, a decent striker and Sinclair would make this transfer window better than I could have ever imagined.
I guess read into that what you will. Saints did say the squad number wouldn't be confirmed until the unveiling tomorrow, but it could easily have been leaked. It just seems odd. Edit: Just seen DTLW's post, which means it's not odd at all
Also, why am I the only one on here with a Cortese avatar? The ****ing legend made this shizzle possible!
Osvaldo Lallana jrod Lambert Still think with more time there Lallana could do a job centrally. (Feel free to argue with me on that though). This way we have all of our best forwards on the pitch, with Puncheon as impact. This is also a very fluid system as all of them can effectively play anywhere in that front four.
