In all seriousness, I always had faith that Cortese would greatly strengthen us this summer. So whilst I am very, very happy with our dealings so far, I wouldn't say what we have done is beyond anything I could have imagined.

But signing a decent CB, winger and striker? Three out of three positions that i was desperate for us to strengthen? I thought that might have been too much to ask. But if we get Sinclair, we will have done just that, plus Wanyama to boot.

He will be speaking Spanish tomorrow now apparently. So Poche's translator David is doing his voice, could be odd on YouTube/saints player with Poche there as well... my friend is very disappointed!

So, saints have signed some guy from Roma... On to United.

Yep. What do we expect from the BBC. Match of the Day and Match of the Day are presented by idiots with poor pundits, and obviously poor producers. That's my opinion anyway.

Despite his annoying voice, at least Colin Murray was enthusiastic and actually seemed to love what he was doing.

Murray loves Saints. Readily admits the fact. Has Saints fans in his family circle.

Just got in to see the news, so here's my thoughts:

There's no doubting the lad has talent, but isn't he supposed to be a bit of a troublemaker? Bit iffy on that side of things personally.

"supposed" is the key word I think. Pochettino and Cortese don't seem to think so. That's all that matters.

Anyway, how this thread altered the "saint x" success rate? What is it 3/6?

Saint Gastón, Saint Yoshida, Saint Dejan, Saint Victor and Saint Pablo have all been successful.

Saint Rhys, Saint Christian, Saint Kaka, Saint Alessandro, Saint Ever and Saint Leandro all unsuccessful.

I'd argue you could ignore Rhys, Christian, Kaka and Alessandro as they weren't taken seriously and Saint Yoshida was started after he had been all but confirmed so that leaves us with a 4/6 success rate.

5 minutes well spent...

The only thing I've seen to do with this, is that he got dropped to the bench for his attitude, and when he was next given a game, he scored a hat-trick.

Best not invite him over for tea then. We've just signed someone from Roma! That's Roma from Italy. Relax and enjoy the ride.
