It must me uncomfortable for Soldado to be welcomed into a league where he has to compete with the talents of Wilbraham and Dobbie for the goals. I doubt he feels like he's good enough

I can't believe Speroni is in goal for Palace. Reminds me of when they were in the Prem about 8 years ago - he was **** in the first three or four games so they replaced him with Gabor Kiraly.

And his ponytail, don't forget. The relegation crew of 04/05 is back, and is ready to take revenge on West Brom.

Feel sorry for Moxey there, he'd had an excellent game so far and was unlucky it hit his arm.

Jedinak seemed to do well from the bits I saw.

Big shame Murray is injured, as I reckon he's a threat at any level. Chamakh and Phillips might combine with a few goals.

Not too bad from Palace. Won't dent their confidence the way a thrashing would.

This game confirms for me that Palace will struggle this season. Spurs looked disjointed today, and Palace never looked like capitalising. I think all that palace had today was first game home fan syndrome so they were bang up for it, but they just don't have the quality. They need to strengthen in midfield if they want to stay up. Jedinak can't do it all on his own for them every week.

Same here. Great tactician, funny and beautiful. No homo.

    (Okay, a bit of homo)

Agreed, he's such a great character. Glad we get to see him week in week out, and hope he causes a lot of controversy!

Just seen that hull have gone 4-3-3, with essentially 3 strikers.

Bruce is very brave! Don't think it's going to pay off though... Predictions?

    I'm going 4-0 chelsea

Well the good thing about 4-3-3 is it allows them to pack the midfield as well. I was hoping for their 3-5-2 from last season, so I'm pretty disappointed by that.

Having said that, I'm also going 4-0 Chelsea.

Nice to see De Bruyne starting, by the way. Van Ginkel and Lukaku on the bench as well.
