Benteke. I saw a lot of similarities today in both of these performances. I still don't think Liverpool have a proper WC striker yet. You bossed the game against Stoke for example, had 25 shots on goal and only managed to score once. If they had scored that penalty you'd all be talking about the glut of missed chances you created. Just MO.

No way the keeper should have been sent off, Benteke laid the ball off to the player who hit the post (either that or it was a **** touch) and the keeper caught him afterwards. Definate pen, worth a yellow card but no more.
 
First game of the season, first (of many loses to come) of the season and you have to blame the ref already for your dismal performance.

But Wenger knows best, keep on hoping!

The one thing I hate about early season shenanigans is that fans of useless teams can come out to WUM
 
I have my doubts that he will sign anyone until deadline day, and even then i cant see him spending the big bucks. The game vs Villa was atrocious for you lot. Your fans booing Wenger and holding up posters telling him to spend money. What a classy football club.

Hey dickhead, Arsenal fans spend some of the highest ticket prices in the land, and have been told to be patient for many years, and now we're also told there is money to spend, so Arsenal fans have a right to vent their frustrations out. We're not paying peanuts to watch this club.

BTW - not sure this guy is a Liverpool fan, never seen him post on our board, even with his old username.
