In all seriousness though, Mourinho can say what he wants about title contenders, he knows he's in pole position to take the top spot come the season end. Wenger however shouldn't be making excuses already for slipping behind Pool and us, and should be focused on making sure that doesn't happen.

He's got no chance - Shearer says Chelsea will win it, so now City merely have to go through the formality of playing the games.
 
Anyone else just watch Pool/Stoke? Liverpool actually played some really nice stuff and Stoke look like they're going to make more of an effort to kick the ball around the pitch rather than the opposition. Good game all round.

I'll tell you why, John. It's because Arsenal have one of the worst defences in Europe, and they are going to get horribly found out this season. Going forward they look great, but if they give up the ball they are completely vulnerable.
