I went to go see Kick-Ass 2 earlier. I was fairly disappointed. Although Jorah Mormont made an appearance.

I enjoyed it in parts, but overall I was disappointed in it. I did have high expectations though, which is never a good idea. Just felt like it tried too hard and got a bit stupid rather then stupid funny. And, although I'm not one to normally criticise acting, I thought that was a bit ****ty in places too. Moretz was brilliant in the first one, but being a bit older, not sure she pulled it off so well.

Maybe I'm just a grumpy old man. It wasn't that bad. I just had hoped for better.

I don't have high expectations for films ever since Superman Returns came out.

Yes, that did under excite, although it had some excellent moments. I know the latest one is considered much better, but I haven't been able to get around to watching it. How is the new Star Trek film..? Is it out over here yet..? I know US Trekkies aren't entirely happy, but then they like their action totally pure to the canon and nothing else will do.

Still, it's a sign. Not many critics are giving it a good review. Generally good films get good ratings.

A notable exception is 28 Weeks Later having a higher score than 28 Days Later, which is just plain ******ed.

Man of Steel is a great film. The new Star Trek is good, but Cumberbatch makes the other actors look poor.

I never listen to or read reviews. I just go to watch a film if I think it looks good.

Sometimes. It takes scores from Metacritic anyway, and I don't pay attention to user scores, because users think Adam Sandler films are good. Film critics are often idiots too, but yeah.

People think the Lord of the Rings: The Return of the Film is good. It's not. It's horrendous.

I wouldn't call it horrendous, though it did bore me. Even the first one is far from being a classic.

This could be crazy, but she may not be a million miles from the truth should certain things align and they end up with 100m to spend....

The more I hear that £100m pricetag mentioned, the more I cry at the thought of us losing our sell-on clause.
