By that logic had arsenal not made a 2nd offer his market value would be 35 million then? Just <doh> Bitter bitter <doh>

Lots of clubs had done business before Suarez kicked up a fuss, as is many clubs now know he wants out so lets see what we get for him in Jan or next summer<ok>

Arsenal are the only suitor currently @ the £40m level. Other clubs have the opportunity to bid at or beyond that level & none of them have, therefore no other club currently are prepared to pay that sort if sum for him. It doesn't mean hes not been exposed to the market it means the market aren't currently interested at beyond £40m
 
To be fair and its not the most exiting of discussions but Tobes has got right, he may be a bit of a pedantic lad but he does generally know his stuff.

Devastating but there we go.

The same applies in this case. Until someone puts a larger offer on the table the current market value on his head is the price that Arsenal were prepared to pay, it's not ****ing complicated
