Interesting, I think this leaves the path clear for us to make a move for Rose. Lets face it we might as well get a bid in what the worst that can happen?

as much as I'd like the lad to sign i think we all know he isn't. a quality player and quite honestly too good for us at the moment, guaranteed first team at spurs, why would he leave? i for one am looking on the bright side: at least i don't have to endure that god awful excuse for a football chant any more.

i thought avb had said rose would be first choice? i was mistaken. also, from a fans perspective, my spud supporting mate thinks the same; ba-e out, verthongen at cb, fryers as 2nd choice anchor mf, chadli likely to get nod on left wing, bale staying central. could be rose competing with chadli for starting spot if not playing lb? he is better on the wing. still, hope somehow it happens. will probably take an exorbitant fee tho. levy likes to get more than his monies worth.
