Rosicky was the main reason we got top 4 that last 2 seasons, was our best players in the last 3 months of both those seasons. Even 2 years ago, people talk about RVP goals but they actually dried up at the end of the season, without rosicky we would never have overhauled spurs
I remember his performances season before last, he was brilliant then. But last season?
With regards to Coutinho, he's a young player who is showing signs of being something very special. We are not saying he's world class at this point but that he may well develop into a world class player I don't think anyone is going over the top about him but yes we are hoping he continues where he left off last season.
I would say so, be interesting to see what other arsenal fans say, but I would have siad he was better than cazorla at the end of this season, tho cazorla was more of a goal threat, but all round play, including defending he was our best player along with kos.
Over the top, the way some of your fans are talking you would think he was better than messi, bale and pele combined.
He was injured for large parts of it, played well towards the end of the season and scored two goals in a win over WBA at the Hawthornes. Overall didn't have a season to remember tbh.
I thought Rosicky was instrumental to the end of our season, with out his input of creativity we would have struggled to break teams down even more, there was too much of a burden on Cazorla all season but as soon as Rosicky came back into the team, it free'd up a lot more space on the field and the midfield just seemed a lot stronger, attacking and defending, because he chases back a hell of a lot.
I think he has been slowly getting better and has looked sharp in pre-season.
He is one of those player that I have just thought needs just to be a little bit better, always just a fraction out of sync or something, almost the same as Jack. He is one of about half a dozen players that have the ability and if they can click this year everyone will forget about who we should have bought.
Inter fans were absolutely gutted that they let him go, they're still pissed now. And all because they wanted funds for Paulinho, who they failed to sign!
We're very brutal about our players' abilities (or lack of in most cases), so I don't think we're "over the top". Coutinho has all the right attributes to become a really really good player for us

You all think Toure is still good.
You all think Agger is the best ball playing CB in the world.
You all think Enrqiue should be in the Spain squad.
You all think Lucas is the best DM in the Premiership.
You all think Gerrard is the greatest player of all time.
You all think Henderson was value for money.
You all think Coutinho is the future Messi.
You all think Sterling is the best English winger in the country.
You all think Suarez will pledge loyalty to the KOP and that he will YNWA.
You all think Brendan Rodgers is the future Mourinho.
You all think you have the best squad in the league.
You all think Liverpool will finish at least 2nd next season.
But yes, you're right, you are all very brutal about your players abilities, the most unbiased, knowledgeable and classiest fans in the country.

I'd agree that his was a very OTT comment but in fairness I don't think it's anywhere near correct for you to say "We're very brutal about our players' abilities (or lack of in most cases), so I don't think we're "over the top"." Don't get me wrong, as I see it, your fans are, in general terms, no different to any other clubs. You have those who think all your players are world class, some who think none of them are fit to wear the shirt and the majority who will judge each and every player on his merits.
I suppose it's only fair to compare starting 11's.
