Why does John Cross have a bad reputation? I always thought he was one of the more reliable journalists in regard to Arsenal. He's been on the money all throughout this Suarez story.
I don't know - 2 years left on his contract, not sure that he would be worth more than Ramsey for example. Really depends if BD are willing to sell him.
We have seen before that a players price and the consensus judgement of their ability is not always in sync.

What would you value Ramsey at? I'd say he's worth around £14 million. Gundogan would cost upwards of £25 million. I'd love us sign him, he'd probably be the best CM in the league.
I would say £20-25 Million is about right. Would be a great signing, such a classy player. That's a team capable of winning the league. Imagine throwing Fabregas in there too, swap him for Wilshere and play Gundogan and Arteta in a pivot. I can dream.
Was on the Swansea board (wanted to find the Wales squad to play NI), and saw a thread on there which got me thinking. Why haven't we been linked with Crystal Palace's Jonathan Williams? He's young (19), he's British, and he's an attacking midfielder, who can play on the wing, and we know Wenger likes those. Plus he owned Modric when Wales played Croatia.
If true, that would have been surely trigged by one of the other massive clubs in Europe? Man Utd have been looking for a midfielder all summer, and they would have certainly tried to get him if this was true.
We should activate it then. He's a top drawer player, to get him for around £20 million would be a bargain
