Now that Gervinho has been sold (appears to be a done deal) Bernard might actually be a good signing after all. There's no doubting the kids ability - I just worry about his size in the EPL.
Manchester United manager David Moyes has launched a bid for 25-year-old Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini - signalling the end of the club's pursuit of Barcelona playmaker Cesc Fabregas http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...er-united-transfers-evertons-fellaini-2131784 Bayern Munich have permitted Brazilian defender Luiz Gustavo, 26, to begin negotiations with fellow Bundesliga club Wolfsburg. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...st-verhandlungsbereit.html#omrss_news_aktuell A couple of transfer rumours that may be of interest. DM is a spot that we need and there are two rumours of players that we could do with. Felliani is now being chased by Man U and Luiz Gustavo is available. If we are unwilling to meet Felliani's evaluation and wages then I'm sure we can go for Gustavo. We are far more attractive and financially more powerful club than Wolfsburg, so I'm sure he would come to us rather than them. He would also be cheaper in transfer and wages.
Coutinho and Oscar have done fine, as did Modric and plenty of other small players. He's got the speed and skill to go past players too so whilst strength is always an asset in the Premier League, it's less important for wide players As I've said before, I'll be annoyed if you get him, especially as left wing is an area I felt you needed to improve.
Yeah he's smaller than all of them though. 5'4 and 60kgs. That's 3 inches and 10 kgs smaller than Andrei Arshavin. Also Oscar is not particularly small. He's 5'11 and 79 kgs. Still he has great ability, we'll need to get him on some kind of strength training programme though.
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but it seems that the visit to London by Bernard was indeed a stopover on his way to Donetsk: http://instagram.com/p/crsWJsvUJ9/#
Come on, of course we weren't, Bernard costs money And he doesn't play in Ligue Deux, which seems to be the new requirement to play for us...
Mineiro said that only Shakhtar have lodged a bid and Wenger said he wasn't in for him when asked last month, so I guess it's another example of a bogus rumour starting from somewhere and the rest of us running with it.
Typical Wenger apologist response from the blinker brigade Bernard knows Le Prof has alzheimers and is the worst manager ever
Looks like Gustavo is about to sign for Wolfsburg. Very surprised Arsenal/Chelsea/United didnt try and snap this guy up. He's pure class - would have been a great signing.
