    Right, two very different approaches there.

    TSS, the tandoori idea is a great one, but I'm missing a couple of key components. Chilli powder will definitely be involved though.

    Dan, why do you hate flavour?

    Nando's is to chicken what Portsmouth is to football. I do have Peri Peri marinade in the fridge, but we can do better.

    I have the following in my cupboard: chilli powder, cayenne chilli powder, garlic powder, cumin, cinnamon, nutmeg, a cajun mix and some tikka and biryani mixes.

    I'm sure I can do something with that.

    I'm sure you can.

    While you've been deliberating, I've had some thin strips of bacon pork in a few seasonings, out of a frying pan and inside a couple of pitta breads. Just a little coarse black pepper and then yum, yum, pigs bum, as the saying goes..! :)

    No, because the pork was very seasoned in several spices and cut up into very small thin trips. The taste and texture is different. Would have been even better with a little lettuce.

    So essentially a bacon and lettuce sandwich..! :)

    I'm coming into this late, but I'm your Jerk man!!! Jamaica wife and I used to have my own business importing the sauces and seasonings until recently. Still have some stock in the garage.
