It was the Emirates Cup that you lost.

The Emirates Cup was a competition that Whinger created to ensure that his players could stand a chance of winning at least one cup, bearing in mind that it is AFC that chooses who the opposition is going to be. The idea was to give the players a feeling of what it's like to win and lift a trophy, and to propel them into the season feeling like winners.

Eboue was like a cult legend by the time he left the club, he was hilarious and the fans and players all liked him. Didn't feel like he left on a bad note at all. It was poor form when he was boo'd but after that he won his place in the heart of the club <ok>

I'm all for the occasional wumming, but this is now bordering on cruelty.

I'm sure that if we invented a plastic cup competition and then failed to win it three years' running, Gooners wouldn't take the piss out of us. Surely, the likes of PESKIE and Arsenal[IQ=]87 and their pals would understand that it was nothing more than a plastic competition, played for fun and not meant to be won.
 
Taarabt's move is a loan, apparently. When is he going to make a permanent one, so that we can get 40% of the fee?
