How are the prices compared to WHL? I think it's about £4.30 a pint at ours...

Yup £4.30, worked out to be quite reasonable factoring in the free one <laugh>

Rarely buy beers at WHL so not sure - I tend to spend the whole game going back and forth to the loo if I drink, only did today because most of the first game was effing dull and I didn't really care about missing moments of the second.

I reluctantly accepted an invitation to the Emirates Cup today from 2 gooner friends. Really enjoyed getting involved with the Galatasaray chants and watching ex-goon Eboue lift the cup for Galatasaray at the end <laugh>

I was there on Saturday. My highlight was the treatment Eboue as a hero by the same fans that once booed him until he cried and had to be subbed off. It'd be like us giving Ghaly a standing ovation.

If you read his twitter he has nothing but good things to say about the club. Seems to still be a proper fan despite leaving on a low note.

EDIT: Just revisited it having not looked for a year or so, I'm not sure if it's real... constantly talks about ****ting <laugh>

What? The Gunners lost the Emirates Cup?

Christ! There really is no hope for them, is there!

I'm not saying he doesn't, it's just a bit rich of their fans to be so adoring of him when they abused him to the point of tears as an Arsenal player.

Please stop picking on those Gunners HIAG.They've got to get up in the morning and go to work..hahahaha!

Inside the Emirates with the urge to urinate a lot!...lucky you! <whistle>

Why the hell did Arsenal invite Drogba back to the Emirates? Didn't he do enough damage there already?
Of all the teams in the world that they could've picked. <doh>

That game was pretty shameful behaviour by the Arsenal fans. Eboue was well liked as a person by both the fans and players though, not surprised he got a good reception

Sounds like Jol is reuniting himself with Taarabt. Played in Jol's last game at Spurs if i recall, 4-0 vs Derby. As usual, could be wrong

Fair enough, I was a bit grumpy last night and took a bit of a cheap shot at Arsenal there <whistle>

OMG we lose a pre-season game tragedy <rofl>

It wasn't just any old game, though, was it, OXO? If only it was.

It was the Emirates Cup that you lost.

The Emirates Cup was a competition that Whinger created to ensure that his players could stand a chance of winning at least one cup, bearing in mind that it is AFC that chooses who the opposition is going to be. The idea was to give the players a feeling of what it's like to win and lift a trophy, and to propel them into the season feeling like winners.

Oops!

The plan went a little awry this season.

Never mind. There's always next season's plastic trophy to try to win.
