Yup £4.30, worked out to be quite reasonable factoring in the free one
Rarely buy beers at WHL so not sure - I tend to spend the whole game going back and forth to the loo if I drink, only did today because most of the first game was effing dull and I didn't really care about missing moments of the second.
I reluctantly accepted an invitation to the Emirates Cup today from 2 gooner friends. Really enjoyed getting involved with the Galatasaray chants and watching ex-goon Eboue lift the cup for Galatasaray at the end
I was there on Saturday. My highlight was the treatment Eboue as a hero by the same fans that once booed him until he cried and had to be subbed off. It'd be like us giving Ghaly a standing ovation.
If you read his twitter he has nothing but good things to say about the club. Seems to still be a proper fan despite leaving on a low note.
EDIT: Just revisited it having not looked for a year or so, I'm not sure if it's real... constantly talks about ****ting

It wasn't just any old game, though, was it, OXO? If only it was.
It was the Emirates Cup that you lost.
The Emirates Cup was a competition that Whinger created to ensure that his players could stand a chance of winning at least one cup, bearing in mind that it is AFC that chooses who the opposition is going to be. The idea was to give the players a feeling of what it's like to win and lift a trophy, and to propel them into the season feeling like winners.
Oops!
The plan went a little awry this season.
Never mind. There's always next season's plastic trophy to try to win.
