It shows they're losing a debate when they become personal. I didn't think they could argue against us being the most successful of the two clubs but they give it a good try but failed and got personal.

Look I'm telling you now i think they were idiots and I'm ashamed of the way those "fans" acted last night but why would i waste words on those morons? they obviously do it to cause controversy so I don't see the point in giving them the satisfaction, in my mind I'd rather defend the majority of Newcastle fans that act amicably. I must admit i didn't actually look at that article, only found out about the violence on here. So you basically want us all to go up in arms for something no-one on not606 board did? I think this Jonas character is either missing the point, burying his head in the sand or just plain dumb...As Sunderland fans we are well aware that we have our fair share of idiots who have let the club down from time to time. However, in the Mags case it has been on a mass scale, with hundreds being involved in the trouble at Darlo and Wigan, and thousands looking for trouble after the derby game...It is also the frequency of the trouble they cause, which is now becoming the norm rather than the exception...
All I was saying is that severe action needs to be taken to nip this in the bud, and my solution would be a points deduction to teach these morons, as representatives of the club, that their actions have consequences..

Fair play, but to be honest, it was you who called me a hypocrite, when I was one of the many many Sunderland posters who condemned our fan at the derby. I'm not saying you are the same as those thugs fella. Just merely pointing out the head in the sands mentality over there as usual. I'm not a Mag hater bar derby day, how can I hate something that fills my life with so much laughter?

Facts are these ****s are at it time and time again, and it reflects badly not just on NUFC, but on our whole region.

There isn't ever a need for it either, even after the 5-1 we didn't cause bother.

I live & work in Newcastle, it is a fantastic, affluent city, one of the finest on earth, but there is, in the city as well as the fans, an undercurrent of ****ing imbeciles.
