It's ironic that the excessive wage demands that are killing the game all started with a one MR JIMMY HILL. what goes around!
More like 10 mins in truth mate... I hope Jimmy Hill falls over and gets his chin stuck rigid in the grass, just as a bus load of Mackems get off. Free arse hoofs. The prick.
Blood pressure can go up, honestly, reet bunch of sad ****s on here.... It was like decades ago, and if that kind of thing bothers you, i suggest medication.
They could sell that bronze statue of Jimmy Hill from outside the Rioch Arena for a few bob. His chin alone could save the club.
I hate Cov but I know a lad who loves them like we do SAFC and would be destroyed if his football club died, just like you would be. It's not the fans' fault how a club is run or what its players/manager decide to do. Football Clubs going out of business can never, ever be a good thing.
Same here mate, hate the big chinned curnt but that's got nothing to do with todays crop of fans or even the club as it stands now. I'd rather see the news that Jimmy Hill needs to have his bollocks amputated due to an incurable infection or something.
Back too Cests post. I agree 100% with him. I detest the b*stards to this day for what happened and to be honest couldnt give a flying f*ck about any of them.
I couldnt really give a **** either tbh, yes it must be painfull for the fans but how painfull was it for ours to know we had been cheated??
It may well have been a long time ago but the pain of the way we were relegated has not diminished, nor has the memory of some Coventry fans attitude, jimmy hills smirking ugly features afterwards, nor the fact it was all swept under the carpet ever since, yet they did it again the year we went down at Wimbledon? I care nothing for that club and stick by my joy at seeing them go completely out of business. I have more time for the mags.
I hate that twatty club, but I think the fans have suffered enough. Like most on here say, it was that **** Hill that ****ed us, even if the rest of them went along with it. I am happy with the fact that his statue is outside the wrong ground and I can't see it being shifted to Northampton
At Everton? No, but I was following the whole sorry saga as it unfolded. I still hate Cov, though. As much for 26 years of hanging around like a bad smell, David Speedie, a 5-0 cup replay defeat I WAS there for, as for '77 and ****face Hill. The fans though, I sympathise with, if only a bit.
Puffy powder-blue strip. Can you remember the chocolate-coloured obscenity that was their away strip one year? Fluked, cheating, back-flick goal. Perennial hangers-on to top division football. Other than that (oh, and 1977) I have absolutely nothing against the black country b*s*a*ds. Oh. Forgot about that nasty piece of s**t Lee Hughes. And Bellamy. x
