Ben Burgess and Danny Allsopp will both feature in the Legends match prior to the Andy Dawson testimonial match!
 
Is there a legends game on befor the Dawson testimonial? Because I have just read that burgess and allsop will be reuniting for the match

Will be great to see them playing together again. Does anyone know any other players who have been announced?
 
An ex-colleague of mine told me last week that Jason Price has just moved in next door to him, (actually renting the property from him). And confirmed he will be involved in the testimonial, presumably the Legends match beforehand.

Does that count as inside info? :grin:

Yes there will be a legends game.

I should really know more about it since I'm on the committee that organised the whole thing, but I've missed a few meetings and ended up out of the loop a bit.

Your definition of 'legend; must be 'played in the lower leagues for us'.


Mine is an 'outstanding servant to the club for many years and a superb player'.

In this millenium, we've had Deano, Ash and Nick Barmby.

Allsoppy and Burgess not even in the best 50 players this millennium, let alone legends.

Dawson and boaz? And at the time they were superb players for us along with elliot everyone has their own opinions of who they think of as legends and your opinion is that they are not thats why i said i dissagree with it i never said it was wrong

Myhill,Dawson and Elliott were all superb for us.

I would stop describe them as fan favourites, great Tigers etc but legends is something more.
