Yeah mines £75 a month, she's a fat spanish lady with glasses. Reminds me of that cleaner on Family Guy.

I used to say that, but that was before I moved out and got a house I had to clean myself. Don't care for it much, and professional cleaners are just a lot better at it.

Ha ha! Yeah, not a great look is it! The only thing I would like someone to do for me is the ironing, I really hate ironing.

That's quite a sweeping statement to make, especially considering my mum works about 50 hours a week and doesn't have much time for cleaning, not properly anyway.

Yeah, I don't really get this concept. In essence, you're providing somebody with paid employment, so if you're in a position to do so, isn't that a good thing? Particularly if you're too busy to do it yourself.

Yep, ellipsis is one of the more dangerous punctuation marks.

Haha, yes, I am aware you were likely not completely serious there. Saying that though, there is this strange British thing we do where we almost automatically denigrate any sign of success or, god forbid, wealth. It's like it's not been earned and therefore a person is 'posh' or 'lazy'. The majority of wealthy people I know have worked their backsides off to get into that position, and as a general rule are people I admire.

Not sure why we have this within Britain, but it is definitely the one thing the Yanks get right ahead of us - they very much have a society of admiration and aspiration when it comes to this sort of thing. Ours somehow seems tinged with jealousy and bitterness.

I predicted the same for us and Everton, but I don't think they're right about Sunderland at all.

Left work early to go give blood today. Got home, dropped my bag off, walked to the blood giving place. Got turned away because they were fully booked and I didn't have an appointment. Well...I suppose that's a good thing. Lots of people donating. But it's annoying for me, I've never needed an appointment in all the years I've been donating, and can't book one due to the nature of my job. I have good veins, am a quick bleeder and can just get up and walk straight out after whereas some people take ages to bleed out and have wait ages sitting their because they get dizzy. I'm sure they could have squeezed me in. Anyway. Rant over.
